Each of our accommodations was very unique, from a sleek modern hotel looking over the water to a sweet cottage in Saint Tropez and a private home outside of Nice. All of it was accommodating and different, and just made this trip super special! When you are planning a trip it is really hard to know where to go or what to do. “As two working parents, we don't have a lot of time, so when we decided (fairly last minute) to take our kids (10 and 13) to France for Spring Break, we looked to Tournesol Travel to help plan our trip. Choosing Tournesol Travel was the best decision made regarding our trip to France. My husband wanted to surprise me with a trip for my 40th birthday and let me just say that Cecilia made this the most magical trip I could have ever imagined.
She took time to speak with my husband at length, every day was perfectly planned down to the smallest details, like a bottle of champagne was waiting for us in our hotel room and a "Happy Birthday" the “day of”. She thought of everything and was available to assist us in a situation during the trip where our French was less than sufficient :)
We toured Paris in a vintage car and experienced a private personalized shopping experience to pick out the perfect dress for the perfect birthday dinner. We had a guided tour of Hemingway's Paris, segwayed our way through the whimsical streets of Amboise, had private tours of vineyards, took a wine class in Bordeaux and sipped champagne on the Eiffel Tower.
A beautiful experience was created and a friendship was forged. We highly recommend Cecilia and the team at Tournesol Travel as we will definitely be using them for our next trip to France!
